MIDI (Multimedia, Interaction, Design and Innovation) International Conference is exploring design methods for creating novel human-system interaction (HCI), developing user interfaces and implementing innovations in user-centred development of advanced IT systems and on-line services. MIDI Conference is a quality-oriented event with limited number of participants in order to stimulate lively, thought-provoking discussions, and to provide conditions for establishing memorable personal contacts.
MIDI Conference offers a unique opportunity to bring together researchers and practitioners working in diverse areas of interaction design for digital products of any type – hardware, software, services, games and art.
MIDI Conference invites novel submissions on all topics related to innovative design of interactions between humans, products and on-line services. We welcome submissions which include any of the following topics:
MIDI welcomes submissions of original previously unpublished contributions which are not submitted concurrently to a journal or another conference. Vivid atmosphere of MIDI attracts both mature and young researchers, including PhD students, graduate students and post-docs, who are all invited to publish their analytical work or new research in relevant areas.
Previous MIDI conferences were held in Poland (Warsaw and Gdansk) and have always provided unforgettable experience in terms of both technical and social aspects.
Authors shall submit draft papers (as Postscript, PDF of MSWord file), IEEE template. Further details can be found at https://www.fedcsis.org/2019/for_authors.
MIDI Conference provides an interdisciplinary forum for academics, designers and practitioners to discuss the challenges and opportunities for enriching human interaction with digital products and services.
Specific topics of interest related to MIDI conference include (but are not limited to) the following areas:
Technologies and software engineering for interaction design:
Methods and methodologies for design and prototyping:
User experience and interaction design methods:
